11th Annual AIDS Ride for Life Saturday, September 12, 2009- Rain or shine! The AIDS Ride for Life is a 50, 85 or 100-mile bicycle ride (not a race!) around Cayuga Lake. Together we raised $278,000 in 2008 to benefit AIDS services and education through the Southern Tier AIDS Program. Join us as a rider or volunteer for the experience of a lifetime.Registration is open! Register online to ride in the 2009 AIDS Ride for Life. Are you looking for an opportunity to continue your training and add some group rides? Look no further- here are the upcoming training rides: Wednesday evening rides every week! Leave from Dewitt Park- on the Buffalo & Cayuga Street corner at 6pm and be done by 7:30 PM. Pace varies between 9 and 15 mph and hills are included (this is Ithaca after all!). All are welcome! If it is raining at 5pm, the ride is canceled. Saturday, July 4th: ITHACA- 9am-the Brown Professional Building by Cayuga Medical Center on Route 96. Ride will be 15-20 miles at a 10-12 mph pace.
