Your role as a corporate sponsor of the AIDS RIDE for Life, is critical to the event's success. Corporate sponsorship combined with rider registration fees, underwrites the event itself.

The AIDS RIDE for Life is a unique event. Yes, it's a bicycle ride. But it's much, much more. For the hundreds of riders, volunteers, and community sponsors, it's an EXPERIENCE. And for many people, it's a life changing one. We count on our riders to bring in the dollars needed to help STAP maintain the high quality HIV/AIDS services we provide. And in so doing, we give people in the community the chance to make a difference in the lives of others. STAP has provided HIV/AIDS services for twenty-two years. With more clients than ever, our commitment remains solid to maintain accurate and up-to-date prevention programming and compassionate supportive services. The AIDS RIDE for Life provides funding that enables STAP to be responsive to client needs and flexible in our community programming. The dollars raised by this event are crucial to our mission of providing compassionate and caring services for people with HIV/AIDS. The success of this event, and the fact that 100% of the dollars raised stays here at home, means we can continue to move forward in a responsive, purposeful, and confident way.

The AIDS RIDE attracts participants for many different reasons. Some have been personally touched by HIV/AIDS and others participate because they want to make a difference. As a demographic group, participants exercise at least four times a week, earn between $40,000 and $60,000 a year, are equally women and men, come from many different professions, and care about their community. Each rider has their own story, but in the end, it's simply that they are the kind of people that find meaning in helping others. The AIDS RIDE for Life riders, sponsors, and volunteers are your customers. They love seeing local businesses involved in the RIDE and are eager to support those who are. Through event and team sponsorship, local businesses realize that being a visible part of this event is a meaningful way for them to take the lead as solid corporate citizens. We all share the commitment and belief that together we will move closer to a world without AIDS.
