For one day, in the fall of the year, in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York State, you will buckle your helmet, put your feet to the pedals, and ride 100 miles closer to a world without AIDS. You'll be cheered, fed, and celebrated for a ride you'll never forget.

The 2008 event will the 10th AIDS RIDE for Life. The event began as a dream of two local cyclists who rode in one of the national, multi-day AIDS rides and came home asking, "Why not here at home?" It is now an awe-inspiring Ithaca tradition that brings together hundreds of riders, volunteers, and sponsors. The RIDE has raised over $1 million for local HIV/AIDS services in its nine-year history. In 2007 the event reached a major goal when it raised over $1/4 million. And now, in 2008 we have set our sights on reaching another landmark and bringing 350 riders together to pedal around Cayuga Lake on RIDE day.
